Most cordless headsets utilize the USB port of computer, and are very easy to install. Cordless headsets incorporate a battery as they don’t have a direct (wired) connection with the USB port.

Bluetooth devices offer better security by the help of pairing mechanisms, but they cover much less range.
Some products use the Bluetooth technology for example Anycom Bluetooth Stereo Headset and Audio Gateway. Good quality but the range is only 33 feet.
IOGear Wireless Stereo Headphone Kit is also a good product. It utilizes the Bluetooth technology, and has a range of about 66 feet. The kit includes audio cable, removable microphone and an audio transmitter. The product can also be used with other blue tooth compatible devices like Apple iPod and other portable media players; you might require a Bluetooth adapter if your device does not have a Bluetooth.
