'On the Ear' Headsets
On the ear headset
design is preferred by many call center representatives because it allows them
to multitask.
The
headset’s speakers are placed outside the ear; a clip or an over
the ear loop, supports the speaker and prevents it from falling. The
clip is wrapped around the outer ear.
However, the placement of clip might annoy you if you wear glasses!
Many
such headsets provide the facility to place the set on either ear.
Currently all of these models are monaural and possess a single
speaker. Hence they are not very good for multimedia purposes.
On the ear headsets can either be corded or cordless depending on your preference.
