I have been having problems with my Internet: it won't stay on...
I call the phone company to talk to them about it and they set up and appointment for someone to come to my place to check it out. No one ever did show up.
So about a month later the problems starts again.
This time I call and let them know what is happening... and could someone come... I asked if they could give me a time as to when someone might be at my place i am told that he will get to you when he can... they could not even tell me if it was going to be in the morning or the afternoon!
I told the lady that I have a job and live alone and can't always be home and a time would be nice. She told me that there was nothing she could do.
He came when I was not at home and left a note on my door saying that the problem was inside. Which i know could not be, since the problem only happens when it is storming outside. I then called them back and told him I wanted him to come when I was at home so I could talk to him.
They could still not tell me when he would show up!
The morning went by, and he did not show, so I called and cancelled as I had to go to work.
Of course, he showed up when I was not home and left a note saying the same as before! Obviously, they will not listen to what I have to say, or that I have no clue what I am talking about. I told them if there was another phone company in the area I would change in a minute! Their customer service sucks but they know they can do this because they have the monopoly in the area.
We desperatley need another phone company here to bring down their prices and give them more customer service to the persons that pay their bills!
