Harris Teeter

At Harris Teeter, the checkout boy bagged groceries and offered to take them out to the car for me.

It made me feel like a valued customer. :-)

Caring,helpful staff
by: Marti

Yesterday I took my 94 year old mom to shop at the Dilworth Harris-Teeter in Charlotte. She is confined to a wheelchair & hadn't been able to actually see & select her groceries for several years. After pushing her wheelchair, while balancing a basket over my arm, I got to the checkout totally exhausted, wondering how I would get Mom & all those bags to the car. I asked Pat, the cashier, if I could pick up the groceries at the curb & she closed her register to help me. After rolling Mom out, I decided to leave her in front of the store & get her into the car there, where there was more room to maneuver the chair. When I drove up in the car, there sat the cart, Mom & Pat, chatting away about the tomatoes! Pat told me she wasn't leaving my mom out there by herself! Yup, I'm impressed! Kudos to Pat & thanks for the best customer service in the world.

Great help to plan a tailgater
by: Anonymous

The store manager (Lee Carter) in the Barcroft Plaza store (Northern Virginia) greatly assisted us in trying to plan a last-minute tailgater for about 8-10 people. He gave us very helpful suggestions that enabled us to set up a delicious tailgater that included great food and little mess at a price within our budget. We really appreciated his assistance.

It's the little things that make it great!
by: Erwin

Hi Simone,

Thanks for sharing. It goes to show that the little things, make the difference between good and great customer service.

Kudos to the bagger!

Which reminded me about this little inspirational video about "Johnny the Bagger"!

Well worth watching.
