Friendly Conversation with Yahoo! going Nowhere

Here's my conversation with a Yahoo! Mail employee. I just purchased a new Dell Vista PC and it won't load the Yahoo page:
Nicole: Hi! Welcome to our Yahoo! Mail Live Chat service. I'm glad you've joined us.
Nicole: Thank you for providing us the details of your issue.
Nicole: Hello David!
David: Hi
Nicole: I understand you are having issues accessing Yahoo! Mail, correct?
David: Yes
Nicole: May I know if you have tried clearing your cache?
David: Don't know if it is a problem with Vista or not because I am on my mac laptop beside this computer and it works.
David: I haven't cleared the cache
Nicole: Please do so.
David: I have done so in both IE and Firefox.
David: Still no luck though....
Nicole: Then it only means it is having compatibility issues with your Operating system.
David: ok...
Nicole: Since I have checked and there seems to be no problem on our end.
Nicole: And you have stated earlier that you can access your mail on a different pc.
David: Like I said, it works on my mac, but this is a brand new Dell computer. Just unpacked it this week, and it doesn't work. Are there any Vista problems that I may be unaware of?
Nicole: Not that Im aware of besides the compatibility David.
Nicole: It does not matter if your pc is old or new.
David: Ok. So yahoo mail doesn't work on Vista?
Nicole: There are cases, yes.
Nicole: But mostly , it works on XP.
David: So I can't access my email unless I do so on my Mac?
David: It appears that Windows Vista is a terrible operating system.
Nicole: It depends if you are willing to change into a new Operating system.
David: Ok. Well, I guess that answered my question. I need to go to Gmail for all mail if I want to use email on my Mac and Windows based PC.
Nicole: I am sorry you feel that way David.
Nicole: However, you always have the option.
Nicole: Is there anything else I can help you with?
David: You are telling me that Yahoo mail won't work unless I downgrade to Windows XP.
Nicole: Yes, I am telling you that...
Nicole: I think it is obvious.
David: I seem to have no other choice...I have relied on Yahoo for my email for close to 10 years now and it won't work with my Vista machine.
Nicole: David, you have stated that it works on other pc's.
Nicole: I checked and it works on bothe firefox and IE.
Nicole: Now I checked on our issues and I saw that there are some that gets solved when they shange their OS which is Vista to XP.
Nicole: You asked me for help and that was my answer.
Nicole: You can't tell me that your Vista is 10 years now, correct?
David: On my older XP machine, and my Mac it works. Not on my brand new Vista machine. Is there a department working on Vista known compatibility issues?
Nicole: There is only us.
David: I have had Yahoo mail for close to 10 years. I have had a mac for a few months. I have had an XP machine since XP was released. I just purchased a Brand New Dell computer with Vista pre-loaded.
Nicole: And we do not do remote fixing David.
David: Well, this seems to be going nowhere. Thank you for your time.
Nicole: And it does not work on your Brand New Dell Computer, correct?
Nicole: You are most welcome David!

So she says that Yahoo Mail might not work on many Vista machines... wow.
