As my mother-in-law's 75th birthday is approaching I contacted the Prime Minster's office so that she would receive a certificate from him. Well I did receive the envelope, on it the return address is shown as "Office of the Prime Minster" also in bold letters "DO NOT FOLD, NE PAS PLIER, guess what was stuffed and folded in my mailbox. Yes, the certificate that I am suppose to present at the party.
When I contacted Canada Post my complaint was passed to the director for my area.
His response was "that's to bad, it won't happen again". I guess not: you only celebrate a 75th birthday once in your life. Now there's no time left to request a new one.
I would think that maybe any mail they handled with the return address of OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER you would take a little care delivering it.
I am still waiting for the other 2 certificates that I requested, hopefully they will come in a better state or be actually delivered to my address (that's another complaint of not receiving my mail but 5 other peoples mail)
