Better Services at Kigali City Council

It was just after the retrenchment of unqualified civil servants that i was acquired as an Administrative assistant in the Political and Social Development services.

I was impressed by the outgoing retrenchment victim who gave me excellent services before she left office. She introduced me to each and every responsibilities of the Administrative assistant and how to go about certain challenges.

In other Institutions, the new recruits were not warmly welcome, and were badly treated. I cherish this lady's services rendered to me and it is this experience that iam building on to execute my tasks.

Two sides to a coin for better services.

Hi,

This shows that this lady had a sense of responsibility.

She must have been knowlegable and she must have had a good track record within the department to enjoy teaching you. She was also intelligent and knew that it was not your fault being retrenched.

That it might have been good for her ego to show you the ropes is besides the point.

I bet that you also appeared sympathetic to her.

If you had sort of looked down on her she would not have been so welcoming.
