Bell India .....oh sorry Bell Canada?

Since the summer of 2007, my elderly parents phone lines have been hanging on a fence. We had a terrible time getting them even to show up to repair the line.

Now several months later... another windy day and oops down they go again.

My parents are 77 and 78 with medical conditions. They need a phone available to call 911. My father has had several strokes in the last year and need a phone.

We have tried getting them to use a cell phone. It is hard for older people to learn how to use them. It is hard enough for a younger person to think straight during a emergency, let alone an older person.

Bell Canada (don't understand the name) promised to have someone out to fix the phone by 9:00 pm. Now it is 11:00 pm and no one has been there. This is terrible!

My Father had worked his whole life and has paid Bell Canada all his life. Never missed a payment--now when he needs the service, no one is there to help at all.

I am not a prejudiced person, but why do we deal with India!!!!! It is Canada... Service for us should be in Canada--it shouldn't have to go to India. They have no idea where any of us are in Canada.

Bell Canada should not have emergency service available....when it is not!!!!

I remember years ago--if you had a problem like no phone: it was fixed that day. We lived in the Country....

Please bring back service which is within hands reach. Don't make promises that you cannot keep, because you know that it doesn't really matter to you since we are are on the other side of the world.
