At Homeschool Supercenter you get what's on the shelf

I called Homeschool Supercenter (HomeschoolSupercenter.com) for information about their curriculum packages. I wanted the name and publishers that I would be purchasing.

I was told they would not give me that information. Are they kidding?

I asked to speak with someone who could tell me what I would be getting in the package so I could tell my school district as I had to submit curriculum information. I was told there was no one else there I could talk to and no one would tell me anything different. I said who packs your boxes? She said our warehouse. I said how does the warehouse know what to put in the box, they must have the titles? She said no they don't, they ship whatever books we have in stock.

I thought are these people actually kidding? They expect me to spend $500, I repeat 500 dollars for whatever books they have stocked on their shelf at the moment and not give specific titles??

Uhm... I took my business elsewhere, after the phone rep wanted to get a condesending tone with me and their apparent lack of desire to assist me and earn a sale of $500!

I'm glad that I had called and not just purchased!

If only they'd just given me the book titles and not being told they will give me whatever is on the shelf, I would've felt much more comfortable. But this is a joke.
