Service is helping others... -- Customer Servings #10 January 06, 2005 |
|
Superb customer service is key to make loyal advocates out of your customers. In this issue:
1. Service is Helping Others...
Service is Helping Others...Only one message today... but it's an important one!Service is helping others. I say this because most customer service folks have one trait in common. They like to help others out. It's a good trait. And in these days a very valuable trait. Or so I hope. Asia is struck by a terrible disaster. I think no-one is indifferent by this. I know I'm not. My friend Alf Pedersen (of Database design resource) has decided to donate his January site earnings. What a wonderful gesture! I also wanted to do something, so I donated my december earnings to the bank account which is opened in the Netherlands for this: 555! If you live in the Netherlands: Make a donation on account 555, if you haven't already. If you don't, and you want to make a donation to the International Red Cross Organization, I have put a donation box on my home page (www.customerservicepoint.com) from where you can easily make donations. I know you will... Because customer service folks like to help people out. Don't let me down. But most importantly... Don't let the Tsunami Disaster victims down! Thanks for your attention, and your generosity! At your service, Erwin.
