What industry do you work in? (Survey) -- Customer Servings #37 November 19, 2006 |
|
November 19th, 2006
Superb customer service is key to make loyal advocates out of your customers. In this issue:
1. What industry are you working in?
What Industry are you working in?As you know, we always stress the importance of knowing your customer, so you can better cater to their needs. Now, we're pretty sure most of you are either working in customer service, or see the importance of customer service in your daily work. What we don't know, however, is the industry your working in. We'd love to know that, so we can do research and write articles on customer service in your specific industry. Now, we've been thinking long and hard on what would be the easiest and simplest way for you to tell us in what industry you work. This is harder than you think, because we wanted it to work like this:
It took us close to a month to craft and arrange this! (So we naturally hope you'll participate in our little survey!) Here's what we came up with: Below you'll find a list of industries you can click on to tell us what industry your working in. Clicking once or clicking more than once doesn't matter, as these links only tracks first time clicks. Then, you'll be forwarded to a page on our site that will show you trade publications for your specific industry. (As you may know, over a year ago we partnered with TradePub.com to be able to offer you customer service and call center publications for fr/ee, and we have now extended this to be able to offer you these industry-specific publications as well!) So, please check the trade publications that TradePub.com publishes for your specific industry, and see if any of the are of interest for you... If you like to get a publication delivered to you for fr/ee, just click on its picture, and the button "SUBSCRIBE FR/EE" or "REQUEST NOW" will bring you to a form where you can enter your information. (TradPub.com is a trusted partner, they value your privacy). There's only one catch. We can't promise you'll be awarded the fr/ee subscription for the trade publication of your choice. It may be that you're not eligible geographically. This is part of the license... we're sorry in advance if you can't get the publication of your choice. But please don't let that hinder you to click on your industry link below. The information is valuable to us. When we have collected the data, we can start researching and writing industry-specific customer service articles. We learn, you learn. Win-win for both of us!
Here's the list. (Remember, one click is all it takes to participate in this survey!)
