October 2004
Superb customer service is key to make loyal advocates out of your customers. Customer Servings focusses on value-adding customer service articles, a Customer Service e-zine delivered free to your mailbox every month! In this issue:
1. Following my Passion...
Following my Passion...To everyone, and especially Chris T, I'd like to apologize. I've tried hard, but between my day job, my family and the Customer Service Point web site, I just can't find the time to create regular e-zines.I admit it. I can't do it. So I've done some soul searching, and decided to stop with the e-zine as it is now. Wait, don't unsubscribe just yet! I've decided to follow my passion. I always wanted to write a book, and now I will. But I'd like to share it with you. Each time I write a chapter, I will make it available to the subscriber base of Customer Servings. So what am I going to write about? Well, here's a shot of the book cover (the book isn't ready yet):
The Customer ConnectionBuild your Internet Business from the Outside In.The idea is that the customer is at the heart of any business, but even more so with Internet businesses. So I'm going to investigate what customers need online, and how to design an Internet Business to fill those needs. OK. That's a bit cryptic. I understand. If you want to know more, just read the first chapter I wrote. I made it available on the link removed, for subscribers only. I hope you like what you read. If you have any comments, I'd greatly appreciate it. Please use the form on the Member Info Point. Thanks.
Authoring an IT Toolbox blogHave you ever heard of the IT Toolbox? It's a highly regarded portal for IT professionals.Last month, I was invited by the IT Toolbox team to host a weblog or blog on their site. It's quite an honor. IT Toolbox 'bloggers' are considered leaders in their field. So I accepted their invitation... Since last week, I'm now an author of this blog Web Design Strategies: Taking the Customer's Point of View Now what's a blog? This is how IT Toolbox describes it: "A blog, or weblog, is a publicly accessible online journal that is comprised of short, frequently updated posts. A blog can focus on any topic and sometimes, the author of the blog invites readers to join in on the conversation and contribute their feedback" So, as the author, I invite you to 'join in'. :-) CustomerServicePoint.com InfoSite mapIf you want to keep an overview on all additions to the site, I recommend you bookmark the Good Customer Service Sitemap.
